Pros

Top notch clients, People who care, strong brand and reputation, quality job orders in good companies. Higher commissions than other firms I worked at. Alot of upside to make 150-250k as a recruiter. really good sales people who clients like a ton. CEO and senior executives are strong. They are still developing the next wave. Good culture in general. Having worked in other shows, i know good when I see it. This place actually lacks a bit of a competitive mindset since they baby the staff and spoil everyone with high fees, exclusive jobs. Financially stability, they did a few performance cuts in 2023 of low performing people and it made pretty good sense if you're actually paying attention to the monthly reports on performance which is Distributed frequently CEO is cool and caring and pretty synced with the reality of his people

Cons

Like any recruiting firm, performance driven. Pretty fair. Just some sales people who can be blount and a tad know it all Can feel sink or swim if you aren't resourceful or a problem solver Bad hiring decisions. you could feel the people who weren't contributing and it reduces engagement of those who are good Really entitled younger workforce who doesn't know how good they have it. many don't understand business or sales so they complain just to complain and are disruptive. they can't imagine life in a firm where they actually force calls or you get fired. very annoying to witness as a senior person some very Alpha females everywhere - there's a pro, but the con is that it can feel dramatic with the younger people who are softies and need babying. coach communication techniques and style to emerging leaders who are new at the building a team work

Pros

-Hybrid schedule -Ability to make $ if you're given the right roles -“Unlimited PTO” was started this year. Let's see if we actually get the time off

Cons

Where to start, there are unfortunately so many cons. While the hybrid schedule is technically a pro - the amount of micromanaging is truly alarming. Especially on the days you are working from home. While you can eventually make $ if you're given the right high paying roles - the base salary is not very good but that's how agencies are so that's a problem across the board. Lots of favoritism in this environment. They play favorites and that's how you know if you'll get the good high paying roles $ and special treatment. A lot of turnover lately, which is amplifying how toxic the workplace. They never take responsibility for themselves, they just always blame others. It takes a very long time for them to pay out our placements. It can be months waiting for $ and they're making it even harder with their new 2024 pay out model. Despite taking so long to payout - you will see top leadership (all family) day in and day out dressed in the most expensive clothes and jewelry. It’s a slap in the face when your employees aren’t even getting paid their commissions in a timely way. Management is not good. They think micromanaging and pushing you to the point of breaking is good management. Zero transparency about anything. Just big goals that will probably never be met. Very performative environment.

Typical Sales Enviornment

Pros

I really enjoy working here. This is your typical sales environment with an emphasis on performance like most. Not many people can handle a sales environment, and many have left and found other opportunities that aligned with what they were looking for career wise. They offer a base salary and like many sales roles, commission is where you make your money. Not many roles coming in at the moment but that's also a reflection of the job market we are in and is the same across all industries. The owners are husband and wife who are very passionate about their company and have alot of say in what can and should be done. This is both a pro and a con. The CEO is not like most. He's very visual across the company and you can go to him and talk to him about anything. They rolled out unlimited PTO this year. Miami and California markets are on a hybrid model at 1-2 days in office which really gives you the freedom to work wherever you want the other 3 days so long as your work gets done. Heavy emphasis on getting your work done as all organizations. They are a small boutique firm so growing pains is typical and usual. You can't expect an Amazon type of work environment at such a small company just yet. The employees are all very close and hang out a lot outside of the workplace. It's a multistate employer so it could seem siloed within markets with everyone being scattered across the US. For the most part, really good people.

Cons

A lot of hands are in the pot currently which clouds communication from the top and sometimes stops things from getting done. The base pay is not the best for where the cost of living is currently, but also the commission is where you make your money. All sales roles are hard as it relates to this. Management could use training on how to develop their employees.
