Pros

work from home. leadership seems to have good intentions. support staff are extremely helpful. ability to spend time with patients and do psychotherapy if you like. no pressure to prescribe controlled Rx.

Cons

major issues with transparency, we do not know the formula for incentive pay. famp up period was extremely slow. so far i am on my 4th month, and only now is my scheduling starting to fill up. they advertise free health insurance, but changed this november 2022. now the only free option is HDHP with HSA. the PPO and EPO you have to pay 10% of the cost. PTO is not real PTO because incentive compensation is calculated as a monthly average, so the months you take PTO your incentive with tank, and you basically get almost nothing those months. The base salary really needs to be higher.

Pros

Insurance benefits are fully covered.

Cons

Adding prescribing providers rather than retaining the ones they have is the sole focus of the company. Pure Silicon Valley model intended to maximize profits for those at the top on the backs of those that do all the actual work. Major funding provided by a venture capital group, so there is clear influence from non-clinical players shaping the course of decisions made. Goal = add 2 clinicians for every 1 you lose = expansion = $UCCE$$. Perhaps this works when you're selling smart watches. Not so much when clinical care delivery or provider retention and the care continuity that comes with are concerned. As soon as the Dept of Health and Human Services rolls back the emergency mandate allowing controlled substances to be prescribed across state lines along with the Ryan Haight act, the platform will implode.

Do Not Work For This Company

Pros

You can work from home.

Cons

You will not make more than $150,000 per year seeing 6 new patients per day and follow up patients. They lie to new recruits about everything. Horrible administration. They do not care about work/ home balance. They value profit over people. Totally misleading ads on social media. Don’t fall for their scam. Psychiatrists are quitting daily.
