Pros

There are no pros to working here.

Cons

Poor management, pay is crap, they reward good, hard working employees with more work by picking up the slack of lazy employees that don’t know their knee from their elbow. Upper management pretends they don’t know that lower level departments like customer service are struggling because their managers are always too busy to help them. There is never a manager available when you need them. The raises they give are a slap to the face.

Thank you for your feedback! Growth is hard and from the looks of it, you grew with us for several years. Hopefully, when you have a moment to reflect on what you experienced, learned and accomplished, you will continue to grow in your knowledge and skills. We have been through unprecedented times for sure with even more uncertainty ahead! Upper management recognized the need of supporting the front-line customer service which is why additional resources (Leads) were posted and hired. Training takes time and transitions can feel slow, but they are actively in process. There is also work in process to add training curriculum to improve employee performance as well as management's performance. From your comment about merit raises, it sounds like we have opportunities for improvement both on the delivery side and recipient side. Thank you again for taking the time to share your insights. If there is anything additional that we can assist with, please reach out to the HR Team directly. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

They have a great training process towards the basic products in their suite

Cons

There is no direction, Talus makes promises of making their employees “relationship builders”. In reality, they are asking their employees to be door-to-door salesmen. They have constantly dropped the ball with poor leadership and lack of planning.

Thank you for your feedback! The Solution Consultant role is promoted as an entrepreneurial position with a support structure. It is an in-field role to build a book of business. We are merchant payment processing, so in person allows for an active visual assessment of the prospect's challenges which can then transition to a solutions proposal. Is it challenging? You bet it is! Do we have some work to do? Absolutely! But we believe in our approach of no contracts and work to earn our customer's business every day! We are consolidating systems and processes while actively in the market. Each day we get a little better and we hope that you are making your way to your best success ahead!

Pros

Flexible hours Independent contracting Some very professional and helpful people there Decent commissions if you work in an area that makes lots of referrals and sales CRM was okay to use if you're familiar with it

Cons

No guarantee of salary (CA salary-exempt sales professional status requires $55,000 pay in CA, but they don't follow this) Tough to make sales with B2B who have many great options to choose from You have to pay for your own transportation, office, business cards, etc No sign on bonus Not a very straightforward sales process, despite what they tell you Pricing was up to the manager, rather than the sales agent which isn't normal Too demanding of the customers who already aren't interested in another pitch Manager quit due to unprofessionalism of both upper management and team performance, expressed his frustration often to subordinates who are actually independent workers Too much micromanagement, they don't trust newcomers Corporate plan doesn't leave room for negotiation*

Thank you for your feedback! While the pandemic has been a challenging period, we have used the time to re-engineer ourselves with new go-to-market initiatives and strategies. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your perspective, that no longer includes appointment setting. We're training our team members for personalized service in the field. We do pay for mileage reimbursement, but it does require tracking and submitting it through our reimbursement platform. Luckily, there is a mobile app for that to keep it convenient. We hope that you are doing well and finding success in your current role. Take care and stay safe -
