Pros

Exposure to all sides of pharmacy. Very hands-on.

Cons

The staff was very difficult to get along with, if you are not a part of the "group". Each tech had their own way of doing things, which made it very difficult to a new tech training. My boss did not work directly with me most of the time, and got her input from the other techs and pharmacists, so it was very easy to throw me under the bus. I had one tech who felt it was her duty to let me know that she hated it there, and to "dish the dirt" on all of her co-workers. They just accepted her bad attitude without any repercussions. I also had to work with one pharmacist who had a very critical and negative attitude all the time. This pharmacist was the one responsible for critiquing me. She was constantly criticizing nurses, and pretty much anyone who did something wrong in her eyes. She was not afraid to share her criticisms with the whole pharmacy. She even did my one month review with me (instead of my real boss) in front of the whole pharmacy, not in private.

Worst Hospital to Work At

Pros

Small bonus at Thanksgiving unless they are being stingy as usual.

Cons

The managers are idiots and either sit on their behinds all day or they joke around with their favorites. Tanner gives pathetic raises to everyone. You have to do online education, classes and have a good review all for maybe a 3 cent raise. The managers believe drama and gossip from their favorites rather than the people who tell the truth and even have witnesses. The entire Tanner Hospital is corrupt and chaotic and only the people that start the drama and chaos win there. There is no room for growth, promotion or opportunities. It is made very clear that you are just a number and you are constantly bullied into doing your job and someone else's because they are always short handed or you will be fired.
