Pros

The benefits package is competitive.

Cons

Long, terrible hours. Depending on your area upper management doesn't work hard or hold their teams accountable which comes down big for those actually working in the store. Pay is peanuts for assistant management. It's great for floor workers and those at the level right above store and most store managers. Go work at Amazon. You'll do the same amount of work and type of work but get paid way more. Internal promotions are hard even though there seems to be opportunities out there. It felt like external hires were always brought in.
