Pros

Learning multiple areas, taking ownership of your area

Cons

At high volume stores, the workload plus guest engagement and expectation to assist the front end can be way too much

Scramble for hours

Pros

Friendly co-workers, management is diligent about making sure you get your breaks

Cons

There's favoritism in how hours are distributed, having nothing to do with work quality or tenure. Unknown variables leading to weeks or months with less than 15 hours a week when told you'd average 25-30 hours weekly. Not a livable rnumber of hours and pitiful benefits for part time employees.
