Pros

You receive a paycheck. They will provide peanut butter and jelly sandwiches if you don't have a lunch or can not afford one.

Cons

Schedule is chaotic. Benefits (if you are lucky enough to get them) are sub-par. Management is unreliable. Pay is an insult. They do not promote from within, only hire from college pool. Understaffed on sales floor. Hours can fluctuate from 8 to 32 hours a week. Leadership lacks leadership.

Pros

Target offers great benefits and has a outstanding rate to move up in the company. The discount isn't terrible either.

Cons

The management gets bonuses for the hard work you put in. They are also quick to turn against you. Not enough work/life balance.
