Pros

Good reputation, salary is competitive to above for other retailers. Retail model of expect more pay less is sound for today and the future

Cons

There are lots of processes to keep the boat going the same direction. Lots of meetings that sometimes make it hard to stay productive

Pros

I've met some pretty great people, both co workers and guests. Extremely flexible with one's schedule, helped out a lot while I was in college.

Cons

Management doesn't really take a huge interest in people who are wanting to move up the ranks. They'll give you as much work as the level above you, but not promote you.

Pros

Fast Fun and Friendly will break up your daily activies once in a while

Cons

Burocratic and top heavy. There were always 4 other people tasked with the same goal as you and you may never know it. The trick was to know what answer management was looking for and go thorugh the motions of subjectivly evaluating a problem. Group Think was prevalent. More effort is extended in making each other look good than solving problems. The only acceptable solutions to problems were free or to push the issue into someone elses budget. Decision making was slowly being outsourced.
