Pros

Getting to work with a team, they give you many breaks throughout the day and enforce this policy, HR is always willing to work with you on issues you may have, team huddle where you get to learn about the sales for the day and other business related things

Cons

any sort of retail can be frustrating to work in but dealing with angry/rude guests, raises are yearly but they are usually small (largest heard of at my store this year was .33 cents) - that is for team members though

Pros

Most of the people who work there are great. Teams in each work center form quickly and everyone learns the most efficient way to get things done.

Cons

Employees are rarely promoted from within. They're brought in from other stores. Management does not care one bit about the workers - not their family life, health, or anything about their private lives outside of Target employment. It always seems they look for reasons to write you up. It's not a good idea to ever get on management's bad side. You won't last long.

Pros

employee discount people that you work with Oppertunities for advancement oppertunies to cross train. Dont have to work in the same department every day, Get to help customers

Cons

the Pay is extremely poor for the amount of work that is expected. Executive team learders are mostly college graduates who were hired with no real work experience. Must have college degree to advance beyond Team lead It is easier to enter management as an external than as an internal.
