      Pros

      Development, good tools available to help you reach the next level Talent of team members Positive Atmosphere True Teamwork environment Care about the guest, shareholders and environment Mentorships Well rounded development, having the opportunity to work in many different departments and career fields

      Cons

      Moving to the next level can be tough if you are unable/unwilling to relocate. At times it's tough to overcome a reputation. Past performance can be overvalued and held against you.

      Pros

      The pay can be decent, but you really have to fight to get what you deserve unless you possess a low enough conscience to stoop to ridiculous politics.

      Cons

      Tons of politics - people in MN really suck to tell you the truth - You never know when you're offending them and they're passive-aggressive beyond belief.

      Pros

      Target does a really great job of trying to accomodate their teams within reason. I worked for the company for 2+ years and thoroughly enjoyed my overall experience. They offer every other weekend off for their Management team, which is unheard of in retail. Get to directly effect the business on a day to day basis, and work with some great, interesting people.

      Cons

      ETL salaries are based on a 50 hour work week, and realistically you are working closer to 65 hrs a week. Some roles have far more difficult expectations, but same pay. As one other person pointed out, I saw some ETL's who were labeled as less valuable than others, and it is really hard to shake that label.
