Pros

friendly co-workers and multiple events for employees including community fundraising events, food events, clothing drives, in-store competitions to earn prizes, provide food during major events and holidays

Cons

lack of understanding/compassion when it comes to health issues/pregnancy, upper management gossips and spread rumors about lower employees, upper management very rude towards lower employees and tend to pit employees against each other and ask employees to spy on other employees and report back only negative aspects.

Pros

The pros of working at Target is if you work enough hours you can qualify for health benefits such as Dental and Medical check ups

Cons

Downsides are the expectations are a bit high for the pay being given to you. Also it takes a good amount of time for you to ever be promoted in the business.

Pros

The pay is often above the minimum wage and you get a raise each year depending on your performance. They offer a lot of opportunities to be trained in many areas and do look for people to promote often.

Cons

The management is horrible. They preach about using the computer system for day off requests or schedule availability changes but don't check them. Stores are often very understaffed but they won't hire more people and instead ask current employees to do their job and someone else's. Even when the store is properly staffed no matter what position you are hired as you are required to do a lot more than what is stated in your job description, which is a lot in itself.
