Pros

- Decent (and I used THAT very loosely) pay and 40hrs/week. - Decent benefits that they keep giving to us, taking it back, and then giving it right back to us (see: sick pay).

Cons

Here is where it is going to get real. - Despite that we work 10hrs/4 days/wk, I feel like that it is not enough as I am always tired after each shift. - Not a fan of the one 25 minute lunch and one 15 minute break that we get that they love to bundle together as two breaks. I love doing what I do, but I need constant breaks as I am looking at a computer screen majority of the time and don't want to strain my eyes. - Not a fan of micromanaging management and micromanaging OMs (yes, I'm talking to you, Maria Yoder) being overly opinionated on one's job without having any prior knowledge and hands on experience of what these job functions entail. No prior knowledge/experience of any of the job functions but she was either overloading the processes between functions or having weekly meetings or side conversations with us to tell us that we are doing the job completely wrong. Like, WHAT?! According to her, she didn't have to know how to do any of the jobs, but that doesn't make any sense at all, because to be in the position that you are in, there has to be some type of credibility if you want any of us take you seriously. If there is going to be ANY type of feedback on what and how I'm doing my job, there's definitely going to be pushback coming her way. Honestly, she is in the wrong profession for the type of micromanaging that she was doing. Micromanaging herself and making sure she has people being her eyes and ears to make sure people were doing what they were supposed to be doing the whole ten hours - trying to optimize every minute since we are paid the minute. She should have applied to be a babysitter if she wanted to be in complete control and dictate their next move and how they should do it and there be little to no pushback at all and basically treat adults like they are children and penalizing them for socializing. Overall, it was hard to take this person seriously as she was not respected by upper management at all. I'm happy (for myself and her) that she found opportunity elsewhere because I honestly believe her time was coming up quickly.
