One of the biggest cons working at Taxrise is that there are a lot of inexperienced leaders at Taxrise which starts from the C-suite down to the supervisors. Which leads to lack of accountability and trust from the leadership team and causes a tremendous amount of turnover amongst teams.
Team members are often terminated without a reasonable PM action plan where they have the opportunity to improve their performance before being fired - especially on the sales floor. This causes a siloed culture where each team is working toward their own KPIs with a disregard for the overall objective of the organization.
This also translates to the team members working individually and creating resistance to collaboration for the sake of hitting their own numbers for that month. Hence, the workplace culture is unstable because you don't know who will be gone tomorrow and it is also stressful because of the amount of pressure that is put on team members to hit daily numbers.
In addition, it feels like the company has an unwritten expectation of its employees working beyond their 8 hours. It is almost like it is frowned upon to clock out upon hitting your 8 hour shift, let alone take a vacation day. This definitely causes a big work-life imbalance.
