Pros

Pay is above the local average. Documentation system is great.

Cons

Micromanaged to a T and the territory I was responsible for changed almost monthly. The company is growing, and while they maintain a "rah rah" atmosphere in the office, they take advantage of their field staff. They only care about the money they are bringing in and often ask you to see patients longer than you feel is medically necessary, or if you feel they are appropriate for discharge earlier, they question you and often ask that you don't. The CEO is ultra conservative and often sends out e-mails that are politically based and a real turn off. I can't tell you how much happier now that I have moved on!

I appreciate your feedback and apologize that you had such an awful experience with our company. I wish I could say this is the first time I’ve heard feedback like this, but frankly it’s not. What we are doing is nothing short of revolutionary, and in a staid industry that hasn’t changed much in the last few decades, our methods certainly rub some people the wrong way! The traditional model of allowing clinicians to do as they please simply no longer works. It takes an amazing amount of care coordination and team work to accomplish the level of clinical outcomes that we have achieved. Make no mistake, our model has proven itself successful. Every single Team Select office in 3 states is ranked 5 stars, out of a possible 5, by CMS. That puts us in the top 1.6% of the nation in terms of clinical outcomes. While I can certainly understand your concern and stress over trying to fit into a new revolutionary care delivery model, I’m not impressed by your desire to make it personal with either me, or the amazing team of people I work with, who work so hard to serve our clinicians, and provide world class care. Simply put, we are not a fit for everyone, and we are okay with that. I wish you luck, and truly appreciate the time you provided in helping us on our journey!

Some Good, but Only Getting Worse

Pros

Culture Fun Events and Happy Hours Occasionally Helping Others is Rewarding

Cons

Extremely High-Stress, and constant on-call work leads to poor work life balance no matter what they preach you'll have to get used to many difficult situation talking with clients unhappy with you and the company, and you'll have to find replacement nurses when on-call in sometimes a matter of hours. If you aren't able to do this you office numbers and reputation suffer as that is expected They will pay you as little as possible as you are forced to perform all the responsibilities of your future title at significantly less pay. This lasts for years at times Be vary wary of office politics and the faux-sincerity of coworkers as well as your management, they will push a team and family culture until they want you out (usually based on office politics and very rarely performance from what I've seen) and after that you realize the only reason to push their "culture" is in order to make you work harder for less money. It's an interesting and good plan in short-term, but they will realize this in not sustainable in the long-run when you have more than 5 offices and only a few which are very profitable. Turnover will continue to increase unless leadership and decision-makers change something; they'll have to find out the hard way most likely, but hopefully they can have some foresight and let go of ego. The commission structure is misleading and unfair based on different levels of success in an office due to new open vs a fast-growing office. It's also frustrating that the success of the office determines commission and bonuses rather than individual contribution. Regardless, the commission structure they present to you will make it seem a lot more lucrative than it is. Decent money will only come in 4+ years at the company and by they you can still always guarantee they will get the most work out of you for as many months as possible without paying you any more or giving you a promotion based on performance as they pitch.

Thank you for your honest feedback – While we are disheartened to hear of your unsatisfactory experience with our company, we recognize that that we hold our employees to a higher standard than most are familiar with in this industry. We prioritize and pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care for our patients, which is reflected in our CMS 5 Star status across all of our locations. Our model has proven to be successful as we continue down our path of revolutionizing this industry. We realize that our company may not be a fit for all, and have grown to accept and truly embrace that. Your efforts in helping us achieve our goals is appreciated, and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.
