Great place to work

Pros

Ever evolving company. Great place to work with free snacks, low stress level. Fantastic place to learn the ropes or to continue my career into the future.

Cons

Lots of times where technology hinders the processes that they're supposed to help. Could really use better communication so that everyone from all departments are on the same page.

Pros

Team Velocity Marketing is a highly creative, technology oriented company. The people, platform and products don't just look good, they work and some are truly revolutionary in the automotive industry.

Cons

Change (evolution) is continuous. This is not a place to set yourself on cruise control, effort and adaptation are required to keep up.

Great People, Poor Pay, False Pretenses

Pros

Really friendly and wonderful people - you can make some great friends at this company.

Cons

The company should not be considered a part of the DC Metro area - one of their main selling points. Getting to work is an abomination (located on an expensive toll road) and there is little flexibility in commuting/no contribution to commuting expenses. This long commute and even longer hours (8-6pm) destroys any potential for work life balance. I worked at Team Velocity/Tier 10 (who knows?) for a little over two years and I worked in multiple departments. My pay rarely changed during my time with the company - they don't seem to value their employees. The pay is very minimal and there is no career potential. The company requires individuals to remain in one position for 2-3 years to even be considered for a promotion.

Thanks for sharing your experience. At Team Velocity Marketing employees who excel are rewarded based off of performance rather than tenure. However with the considerable amount of time we take to train our employees, we do request each employee remain in their position for at least one year. We are always striving to improve, so we genuinely appreciate your feedback.
