Pros

Healthcare benefits were decent average nationwide.

Cons

Sweat shop atmosphere, its who you know not what you know. Terrible management who don't even understand your job but manage teams. Employee moral is always down and high turnover rate due to low pay and heavy work loads.

Pros

The benefits and pay were decent.

Cons

Lower level employees are considered expendable. Verbal abuse was common. HR and management looked the other way saying upper level people were under a lot of stress. They have you over a barrel and know it. There was so much wasteful spending. #metoo

Promotion from within is difficult

Pros

I have worked for this company for 5 1/2 years. This company provides good benefits, allows employees to work remotely when possible, and is in most cases a positive work environment.

Cons

I have found that promotion from staff position to management is very difficult. Other reviewers have stated that there are many promotional opportunities with TeamHealth. I once believed that was true also. Qualified internal candidates are passed over time and time again for promotions while external candidates are hired and who do not meet the in qualifications. It is hard to understand how Human Resources can support and document hiring an external candidate who does not meet the job qualifications while rejecting a super qualified internal candidate.
