Pros

30% Discount, Starbucks Markouts, free tea all day, laid back dress code

Cons

All about sales, management plays favorites, lack of support from upper management, poor problem solving skills, too many focuses at once

Might be ok for part-time student

Cons

Though owned by Starbucks, Teavana's corporate structure is still fairly autonomous and this is a serious problem. Teavana has no idea how to run their company; their pay for general managers is among the lowest in retail especially for the amount of work that is expected. One of the worst employment experiences I have ever had.

Pros

Before the buyout the culture was great. Yes it was sales, but the product was good and the company truly cared about the employees. There were trips for management down to Atlanta for sales and management training which always greatly benefited the store. If the company believes in you, they will help you grow your career. Even move you across the country for new opportunities. The people Teavana attracts are always great, so you work with amazing people.

Cons

It's not Teavana anymore. Starbucks bought them and a lot of great people left. Andy Mack isn't the CEO anymore, and sadly it's just not the same. Quality of the tea has also gone down, which is kind of the point of a tea shop.
