Pros

I liked the people that I worked with.

Cons

When I was there the company had a lack basic resources for job performance such as internet bandwidth, telephone service. Took on a project too large for the means of support. Lack management the three months that I worked for Technatomy, I had the worse experience of my 30+ years in the work force. The corporate office and the government work place were the work placed from hell.

Pros

Most of the people who work at Technatomy, who aren't HR or leadership, are well-intentioned and nice. I think there is a lot of interest in moving Technatomy to the next level, but there is so much pettiness and noise in the way, that it continues to be good intentions.

Cons

HR and leadership have no control over the company. The gossip, fraternization, and nepotism (and resulting family feuds) really put an unprofessional spin on the entire enterprise. They create so much noise that I suspect nothing gets done. People are either cheating on their spouses with their co-workers (and these are senior-level executives doing this), or someone in IT is mad at another person's sister who is mad at their cousin who works on a contract, or something. As a result, the administrative and HR staff (who are all related to one another) behaves like one big episode of Mean Girls. I've never seen anything like it. Especially the fraternization issue; it's unacceptably unprofessional.

Pros

The company tries to promote opportunities for employees to come together where it be Xmas parties, company paid luncheons or icecream socials. Most of the employees seem to really care about their jobs and work hard to win new contracts. The IT department is responsive to computer needs. I think the CEO overall really cares about the employees and the company.

Cons

Ineffective HR leadership. The CEO shouldn't turn a blind eye to what happens in this department. An educated, fair and professional leader are what's needed for this department and then the company will start to thrive. A party planner isn't what''s needed..an admin can take over that role and has done it in the past. Currently, favoritism runs rapid from who is allowed to telecommute to reviews/raises. Some employees are allowed to work out of state with no accountability.
