Pros

Telamon handles travel much better than any other company I've worked for. Okay TC for industry. Management isn't breathing down your neck like many other telco companies. Good PTO.

Cons

High travel, extremely rare WFH

Pros

Family-owned company with excellent values and outstanding leadership. Depending on job position, great work location flexibility including ability to work remotely on some days. Very good overall benefits package. Excellent people with a lot of long-term employees and a lot of diversity in the workplace - international flavor due to a lot of people who were born abroad. Family environment. Work-life balance is considered by leadership.

Cons

Sometimes difficult industry to make adequate profits for re-investment (Telecom, Industrial Manufacturing). Can require long hours and unpaid overtime if salaried. Only available health plan is high deductible. Often expected to wear multiple hats within a single job title. Much of the training in the industry is OJT, so can take time to develop expertise.
