Pros

- Steel industry market leader - Extremely diverse and multinational - Industry network led to lucrative O&G job - Able to move between unrelated departments - Taught me Spanish free of charge

Cons

- Cartel culture: family connections override all rules - Given the promotion's workload before the raise - Having to deal with cultural biases towards women - No communication with "Anglo" employees leads to low morale - Low trust: need to beg Argentina even if you are buying a pen

Pros

Great training program. Company teaches you fundamentals of tubular industry. Good health insurance benefits. Company is leader in its industry

Cons

Promotions are political. Argentines get the best options. Difficult to climb ladder if you are not Argentines. Opaque performance approval process. Many managers with poor leadership skills.

Pros

If you like challenges, to be part of a company that is unique in its business and that is currently shapping the rules of steel business, this is the place to be. If you're a fast learner you will get most out of the internal training offer: TenarisUniversity. The company has a very clear mindset and vision of what to achieve. Long-term results are more relevant than quarterly performance.

Cons

It's not easy to manage your work-life balance. The company has a strong result-driven culture which is allways pulling you back to your chair to finish the job. Failure is not an option. To plan / planning is not a strength of the company.
