Pros

The growth potential is good if you are willing to work hard and be patient enough to take the time to learn the "Tenaris Way" before getting promoted to the next level. Tenaris is very particular about product and employee quality, so they are insistant on people learning how Tenaris does things as opposed to the way you have done your job elsewhere. They are open to new ideas, but it can be frustrating if you have not worked in a global company before. If you are looking for integrity in a CEO, this is the place. Rocca is one of the few CEO's you can trust in todays market.

Cons

The global standards to process, manufacturing, etc can be frustrating because it can not translate to the local cultures well, making the work more buerocratic than it needs to be. The expected hours are long due to the South American work ethic. They have a lot to learn about Work/Life balance if they hope to retain good employees.

Pros

The benefits were wonderful and the bonuses were great. That's about it. The company also seems to make sure to limit layoffs at Corporate and all Plants (for example, an underperforming Plant was able to have employees work at another Plant in other states at the Company's expense). Another good point is the Company's global position. Employees are able to really learn at the global level and take that experience to another company. Finally, after 18 months, employees can transfer into another role. However, if you want to move because you aren't happy, it's hard to get a Supervisor's blessing.

Cons

Global company where most people have a heavy Argentinean accent and knows nothing about work/life balance. The company operates as if they are in Argentina, so the native employees work crazy hours (60+ hour weeks). In addition, it is hard to get your own schedule if you have outside things to do (picking up your kid, seeing your family before dinner time, etc). In Argentina, everyone starts work and ends work at the same time, so that is the expectation here in America. Another problem is that Tenaris has many chiefs and not enough Indians (no offense to anyone). You need like 5 signatures to buy an ink pen.
