Pros

The money is good, the salary offered RN's is good for South Florida, 401K and average benefits offered at most hospitals, free .edu's /ceus There are many skilled , caring employees here with years of experience and most of them where here before Tenet bought the hospital.

Cons

Currently cancelling and floating almost all ancillary staff. Have gone above and beyond skeleton staffing. Now we are down to the Invisible Man staffing.

Pros

Excellent on-boarding process. Great coder training materials during on-boarding process. Reasonable pay for position.

Cons

Poor management. Poor training after initial on-boarding. Antiquated coding software. Poor communication from management staff. Several I/T issues almost daily resulting in lack of productivity. This company is primarily interesting in their bottom line and not quality. If you're interested in working like a robot this is the place for you.

The people here are helpful & we all try to assist each other. The culture among employees is good.

Cons

There is not enough staff on the units. The administration howls loud & long about the fact that press-ganys are down. They ignore the obvious reason, not enough people! Just telling nurses & pcas to run faster won't work!
