Pros

Hospital Admin is very nice! Most of the staff is under a lot of pressure, but they will take the time out to speak with you.

Cons

Tenet has the worst benefits if you are an admin staff. If you want a holiday off- you must use your PTO hours or else you will not get paid. In addition you cannot borrow against your PTO time, so unless you have it accrued you will not be getting paid. Good luck feeling motivated with low pay, low benefits, and unrealistic expectation from Corp Finance.

Large organization with locations around the country. Offer the latest technology to draw great employed doctors. Benefits and pay is very competitive.

Cons

As managers, Tenet has blurred lines in its organizational charts to help understand who is truly the decision maker (administration or high priced employed physician) - these "blurred lines" remove the focus on its patients from thier mission and purpose in the community Individual Hospitals work in silos from each other in regional markets, many local hospitals fight for the same market share by providing same high dollar specialtis rather than pooling this strengths and reducing costs

Good health benefits; great office location downtown Dallas

Cons

Everyone constantly looks grumpy and unhappy; senior leadership comes across as unpleasant, borderline hostile; instances of management stalling and killing employees transfer requests, employee engagement is inexistent if not for a couple facades; ESPP is laughable, decent work/life balance is eclipsed by stress from all the cons.
