Pros

Great benefits including health, behavioral health, alternative medicine benefits. Vested pension after only five years. Salary is a bit higher than other nursing homes in the area. The job is not as hard as some other nursing homes. That's for sure!

Cons

Often working with two nurses on each wing gets hectic. Especially, daytime shift. Not enough CNA's either. Probably nothing more can be done right now. They're hiring. People aren't staying. Every job is working without enough help. If folks would hang in there we'd eventually have a full staff.

Pros

Great people to work with, the "why" that some are there is to take care of Veterans and their families. Nice facility

Cons

Upper management No advancement or incentives Limited training and no support Within a year more than 10 management changes
