Pros

Not any that I can think of

Cons

So many to be honest. No room for professional development especially at a junior level. Be ready to do whatever is dumped on you whenever. On top of that, benefits and pay are absolutely awful. Pay is way below market, only offer 23 days total of time off including holidays to any new employee regardless of experience. And no paid maternity leave. In 2026! It's just one degree better than being unemployed if you have an advanced degree.

Remote, Company Provided Equipment, They seemed nice.

Cons

They could improve the horrible communication as a new hire when I was told something was going to happen and it didn’t I had a lot of trouble getting ahold of someone

Pros

This company does some interesting environmental work and can have great learning opportunities. The staff is knowledgeable with many mid-level managers being competent and good to their employees. There's a lot of opportunity for remote and hybrid work creating good work/life balance.

Cons

Each business unit can feel very siloed. There's little opportunity to meet and work with others outside your unit. The operational leaders of the units can act like small company CEO's with very top down management style. There's a lot of pressure on the engineers to be fully utilized leading to few training opportunities, or enrichment activities for the employees. This can cause an unengaged workforce and high turnover. If you're unlucky and get a poorly trained manager you can feel stuck, with little chance to move out of that situation.
