      -they offer a salary per position

      Cons

      -internal capacity building and training opportunities are atrocious -low pay, salary increases for good performance top out at 3% annually -not vested in retirement account until your 5th year with the company -horrible work life balance -people are too busy to be interested in others -interesting part of the work is exclusive to senior employees -very high turnover rate

      Company gets government funding so work is steady.

      Cons

      Managers care more about numeric metrics than the quality of your work. Micromanagement and fear is their tool of choice. Training is dismally poor and new hires were confused en masse, but managers expected immediate results.
