New CEO a disappointment

Pros

Respectful culture, good benefits and perks

Cons

New “CEO” is a rookie at the real job. Immature and narcissistic. Likes to go on about how great he is. You can tell his directs tiptoe around him. Came in thumping his chest and when confronted with criticism from employees, just thumps his chest even louder. He needs CEO training. As far as diversity efforts, how about less hiring from SMU and try reaching out at a school with a more diverse student body. This place is very white.

No work life balance

Pros

The people are nice. Parking is paid.

Cons

The new CEO came in and changed the culture overnight. It went from being a great place to work to a dreary place. No work life balance. Meetings all times of day or night. No casual Fridays. Had to use our PTO for absences during the once in a lifetime historic ice storm. The Alternate work arrangement was done away with so no more working from home. A lot of people forced back to the office early got COVID. Older workers are looked down on.

Terrible New CEO

Pros

Good pay is currently the only pro at TCB.

Cons

As evident by the majority of recent reviews, the new CEO has made numerous drastic and unpopular changes in a relatively short timeframe. Forcing all staff to return to the office full time, with no flexibility, and no regard for their role or function is a gross misjudgment of the current workforce. It has and will continue to cost TCB a lot of talent to competitors who are allowing remote work. There has been a large amount of negative feedback regarding the reversal of the alternate/flex work arrangement, and management has promptly ignored all of it.
