Pros

The high level management team really does want you to be happy, productive and engaged and try to touch base with each employee on an anonomous basis to see how their mid-level management team is doing.

Cons

They are so politically correct, you can't breathe without offending someone. Mid-level management is a tight circle so moving internally is difficult and if you get on the bad side of some mid-level manager's, there is no recovery from that. You swim with sharks every day.

The pay was good for what I was hired to do. The corporate office location was easy to get to in north Arlington.

Cons

The company has good intentions/mission/vision but does not put the right people in management to follow thru. Either you are "in" and treated great or "out" and can do nothing right. It is a very stressful place to work.

Employees are nice but don't let that fool you

Cons

Communication is lacking big time and no one knows where anything is. So i worked in fort worth in obs unit as a PRN (due to school) I was doing all the competency but no one was checking it off and it's the job of the nurses and charge nurse to do so. So new hires if a experience PCT tells you to do it by yourself make sure a Charge nurse or a nurse is there to check you off. Oh and rqi I did mine in June and it's every 3 months so September to November would have been the next time it's due but no one told me I had to do it twice in 3 months so I got in trouble for that. Also I got in a car wreck so obviously I had to call in I got penalized for that too. Just left and right foolishness. So for the new hires PCTs... if you work there just keep your head down and do your work. And make sure a nurse or charge nurse is checking you off in everything you do not the PCTs. Oh and HR definitely is not on your side.
