Pros

Good benefits, professional development and growth opportunities and family friendly. Vacation and PTO particularly generous. Good place to start a career as there's mentoring. Good place to end/plateau a career as you can maintain efforts and still add value.

Cons

Not close to cutting edge. Average performance seems to be tolerated. Empty suits are obvious but still remain, which doesn't do much for morale. Can be frustrating if you want to run -- company can walk quickly, but can't/won't run. Silos have been built over the years in businesses and corporate.
