Pros

Very good benefits & compensation, with opportunities for profit sharing. Most all of the people you work with are extremely talented. Good opportunities to work on new technologies and products. Cool to know that things you work on show up in recognizable consumer products.

Cons

Big company Stress level at times can be high to deliver Company will make tough decisions to get out of a business if it isn't hitting the performance goals they want - result is entire BUs can be hit resulting in RIFs.

Pros

I started Texas Instruments in an entry level job and TI spent a lot of time and money to develop me as a leader. They provide tuition reimbursement and also sent me to numerous training classes for technical topics as well as leadership and other soft skills topics.

Cons

Not the highest salaries in the market, and they are known for large sweeping layoffs. One of which eliminated my position there.
