My experience at TI

Pros

There really are opportunities to grow and develop skills through projects. I also had a good overall experience with each manager I had while I’ve been at TI; they have been generally understanding and supportive for the most part.

Cons

TI’s approach to hiring is to bring in a lot of interns and new college grads which is great in some ways because there’s genuinely plenty of opportunities, but the issue is the hands off approach that TI has to most things including project work and everyday responsibilities. There isn’t a great TI-wide culture of collaboration, so simply asking questions can be seen as “hand holding”. I would say most people are siloed.

Pros

Lots of training, values talent development.

Cons

Heavy workload. Depends on your manager, mostly little to no work-life balance.
