Great benefits, loves to promote from within, good for the experience if you want to learn insurance accounting

Cons

Management is not receptive to input that goes against their own opinions so be prepared to be ostracized if you go against the grain here or are even a touch neurodivergent. Hires unqualified leadership from within just to save a buck and then wonders why things aren't going well. Don't expect a good salary here even with ample surplus, they'll just say your benefits make up the difference. Current supervisor is an extremely unqualified "yes man" (no CPA, MBA, or any experience working in Accounting...) so be prepared to do more work than necessary and for your health to suffer from the stress. Micromanagement and a big egos here running rampant but touts that they're a family.
