Pros

Can't think of one, unless you count getting to walk yourself to a table when you want to dine in, and only getting 30 percent off food compared to other restaurants employee discounts.

Cons

Got "promoted" and still wasn't treated with respect. Management. Perks. Pay. I was in a position that did not require a degree, I was working with high schoolers, and we were not allowed to request off for family or personal events if management thought the restaurant would be busy even though there were over 60 employees at my store.

Pros

Make some money. Improve on your people skills. Learn how to tip if you don't already know. Learn a few recipes and maybe make one friend or two.

Cons

Workers who call in and never show get rewarded; ones who are always early and never call in go unnoticed. I've been there for almost 4 years an have never been acknowledged as a good employee, nor have I ever been employee of the month. New people come to work there and within 3 months they have been employee of the month twice.
