Pros

Vacation time. Only way to receive a promotion is by leaving the agency and starting at a higher pay rate somewhere else, then returning. NOT WORTH IT.

Cons

Supervisors on a power trip; no merit/pay increases; performance reviews are not handled properly and often do not encompass all work that was done; CHAPS system (time tracking) is time consuming and VERY outdated; instruction on assignments often change while working on something and employees are not notified; behind closed door meetings with management and information is not provided to lower level staff; no ability to review supervisors; turnover is EXTREMELY high because of lack of pay/merit increases and opportunity for advancement is almost non-existent.

Pros

Our compensation benefits, i.e. allotted annual leave for good work performance was decreased. Monthly merit raises do not exist as they did when we were DARS. We are micromanaged, we didn't have this experience when we were DARS.

Cons

None at this time. None at this time.
