      Pros

      Textron Aviation is a great place to work. It is a large employer and with that comes its own set of pros and cons, but they honestly do a good job at trying to remain relevant to employees and provide good benefits. Plus as part of their tuition reimbursement benefit you can obtain your private pilot’s license for almost no cost (once you pass).

      Cons

      You have your normal grumpy staff who have grown into their dissatisfaction, but most employees are happy and great to work with.

      Pros

      Opportunities to learn, Job security, large variety of airframes, quarterly and yearly bonuses.

      Cons

      Fast paced environment. You either adapt and become faster/more efficient or you’ll have a rough time. I personally enjoy the challenge of meeting or exceeding the job “flat rates” but it’s definitely not for everybody. If you want to do the bare minimum and get paid good, go work for an airline.
