Great benefits. Overtime available when program is approved. Typical work days are no longer than 8 hours. 9/80 schedule available to some.

Cons

Wages seem below industry average. Typical with aviation, is the what seems like yearly layoffs. Often given "challenges" from management to complete schedules with limited manpower.

Pros

Awesome group of people to work with. When the budget is there it is an amazing place to work. Some of the best work life balance of any job if you are in the right group.

Cons

When projects are overbudget (often), things quickly get stressful and you can end up doing the work of multiple people who used to work there with your same salary. CEOs are definitely pushing engineers past their limits.

Pros

The people here at fantastic, but that may have to do with the mid-west personality. Tuition reimbursement is great and the military differential pay is great (if you go on military orders they make up the salary difference).

Cons

Senior leadership doesn't care about turnover, just as long as they are keeping the company in the black. Insurance is awful, as are most large employers now days. Low entry level wage with very small yearly raises.
