      Pros

      Mgmt is great and works with everyone's situation with empathy and compassion. HR and C-Suite makes legitimate efforts to engage employees and be as transparent as possible regarding financial goals, production goals, and future projects.

      Cons

      WFH Policy is still in 2014. Have the tech but only use it in emergencies rather than integrating into work schedules. Claim that WFH inhibits collaboration... ok boss, if you say so. Pairing down carry over PTO from unlimited > 120 > 80 over time. I guess you can see the direction they're heading in that regard. Less PTO. Initial pay is ok, raises are still at the good ol' "3% so you don't leave" range, like the rest of corporate America.

      Pros

      Good job to learn a lot about all realms in the environmental compliance world and get hands on experience. Easy to rotate between learning about air, water, and waste. Textron likes to keep the talent they hire so it’s somewhat easy to move departments. Tuition assistance is really great and only a 1 year payback.

      Cons

      Not really engineering, you get paid less than all the other engineers in the company and less than general, can be a sink or swim environment, large age gaps between management and entry level employees can make communication less than effective, likely to have little training and more learn by doing, high turnover in all of EHS
