Pros

401-K matching, fitness benefits, relocation opportunists nationwide.

Cons

Management stresses multiple unpaid overtime hours each week (minimum of 3 overtime hours). Failure to meet the overtime goal results in poor performance reviews and reduced pay raises. Overtime pay is by special request only. The first 5 hours of OT is always unpaid.

Pros

Good opportunities for internal growth. Competitive compensation structures. Able to migrate between Textron businesses. Great place for Millennial workers to get their start.

Cons

Textron Systems is not well led at many of the Hunt Valley business units. Management is not trustworthy or mission focused. Functional leadership has effectively overtaken program leadership, which results in very unbalanced and single topic focused management expectations. In this company you seek margin above all.

Pros

Good people Interesting defense products Attention to quality Personable lower level management Clearly defended chain of command with employees at all levels that are experienced and knowledgeable about their jobs. Good pay, four weeks vacation, fair 401k

Cons

Upper level management does not pass information to employees No idea what is going on in Washington (legislation passed that doomed the company). Layoffs
