Pros

Office is beautiful, tremendous opportunity for those willing to sacrifice everything else, very nice area in Naperville, free snacks. Occasional lunch events.

Cons

The company does not care whatsoever about you as a person, you are solely a robot there to make them money. A 40 hour work week is considered a joke/dream at this company. No one ever has time to answer questions/clarify things, you will be on your own without any guidance on very challenging, time crunched projects. There are strong cliques of those who have knowledge and are unwilling to share. There are constant interdepartmental disputes and lack of communication which causes problems. Code base is a giant mess of technical debt given the strict time demands on projects and lack of maintenance.

Pros

Good snack area and nice facilities

Cons

Extremely poor management. CEO gets off threatening to fire people. Has no concept of team building and overall effective management. Micromanagement is the culture of the organization. If you have some serious mummy issues, then you would love this else run for the hills.

Pros

If you're working on the dev or IS teams you're going to be learning a lot that will be useful to your career. TTG is underemployed and many of the junior members are handed down intermediate to senior level tasks that will force you to flex your intellectual muscles and learn something new. This is a great place to work if you're just entering software development and want to expand your capabilities.

Cons

Working at TTG is to succumb to a constant state of unorganized chaos. The CEO brings on new projects and new clients without the resources to support them. Many employees are overwhelmed with their workload and don't have time to help. Projects are assigned with little to no prerequisite research done which leads to a lot of time spent understanding and verifying the initial request. Hiring, firing, and resignations happen every week. For a company with under 50 employees this is a burning red flag. The CEO really doesn't give a ship about most of his subordinates, but he does like expanding his business.
