Pros

Stay away from this place

Cons

All the chief officers are counterfeit Christians. They spew Bible verses but will go against you if you are not in their favor.

Pros

People on the front lines doing the work. Sense of purpose.

Cons

The new CEO has been caught lying directly to staff on multiple occasions with zero consequences. His character-deficits far outweigh any funding he has brought in. Additionally, there are no people of color on staff at the Exec Level and every time an opening happens they fill the team with more white people. You'll find people of color doing the hard work on the ground while the new CEO earns 10x their salary. One more thing -- every line in Robert Lupton's Toxic Charity book can be directly related to Bowery Mission.
