Pros

Longevity is possible, wages can be moderately good in spite of variable, the serving staff is generally good at working together.

Cons

There are bias at the Cheesecake Factory, which affect people's schedules based on how they get along with distinct managers, not based upon merit. Mobility is relatively stagnant. There is a lot of hiring of people from without rather than promotions from within, even for exemplar employees. They string people along. I have seen it with many staff members, You as a staff member can have an exemplar record and be dismissed with a whim of a manager or that of a guest, The kitchen manager and the GM often roll their eyes at the same employees new or old that they ask to ask questions to avoid errors on the massive menu and on modifications of dishes when the staff ask any questions. The Kitchen Manager is prone to yelling at and even demeaning staff, especially on the front of the house end. She is very short tempered, The managers will write people up who speak up to them about their own unprofessional interactions with staff, even if it is addressed in a very professional and reasonable manner. They have no problem contriving things. They find petty reasons to fire people they don't like that wouldn't be used against the general staff. I have seen them fire people, after being injured for how they cut the bread for instance because the person was injured at work. Guest can be demeaning to extremities and never be 86 ed. There was a racist, sexist regular who literally called staff foul names and even management and continued to patronize the establishment for many years. Even upper management will say to staff that you can promote yourself to a guest because guests experiences are paramount, but staff is often not respected internally. Half of the managers are unbiased and fair.

Pros

Great company for staff with a lot of benefits for staff.

Cons

Managers are worked like slaves with if any tiny pay increases expected to work way over 55 hours and unrealistic expectations.
