Can become stressed easily, can be a bit chaotic with the wait time and never had a place to sit down for a moment during break/eat.

Pros

Health insurance at 25+ hours PTO 30+ hours Flexible

Cons

Make you come in when you are sick exposing other employees and guests to illness. Horrible communication, no compensation during Coronavirus pandemic although a fortune top 100 company with billions in sales each year, even Cracker Barrel is paying their employees during this time. This company acts like they are the best to work for in the industry but have proven that all their employees are worth to them is a free meal. They should be ashamed.

Pros

Most Cheesecake Factory's I've worked at have always felt like a family to me. The management teams always seemed to help one another grow and push to the next level of management. GMs and regional directors were always checking in to see what more they can do to help you in bettering yourself so that you can grow with the company. The further you move up the better the bonuses and stocks become. Best of all, they are great about promoting from within, though if you are hired from outside the company the starting salary is always better... it has been a few years... but internals started at about 45,000-47,500 while outside hires usually started at about 50,000-55,000. No company you work for is going to be perfect, but I loved working for this company!!!

Cons

If you're hard working and really apply yourself you can go really far in the company because there's so many opportunities for growth... but if you're not then they are really good at making your life hell until you give up and leave. If they don't see potential with you then they won't waste their time. Also, I feel that it's a lot more difficult for an outside hire to adapt to the Cheesecake Factory culture. There's sooo much information to take in and it's way more than just a managerial position, your given a lot of additional responsibilities, constant quiz taking, new recipes and flavor profiles to memorize, inventory of your workgroup, and new menu rollouts can be crazy!! So if you're not good with your time management you will probably struggle to keep up here, but if you can keep your head above water then you will grow to absolutely love this company!!
