Pros

Sometimes you get to design cool things, and most of the other designers are great and talented people. Pay is good / lots of vacation if you can ever take it (you can't)

Cons

Upper Management absolutely does not care about their employees. There is so much talent within the company, but the whole atmosphere is so stressful that it gets in the way of your personal relationships. I was always at work after a 2 hour commute each way, and it was still never good enough. I actually was starting to lose confidence in my abilities until I got a new job and realized it wasn't me. The entire process needs to be revamped.

Pros

The only thing I can think of is the PTO.

Cons

Each year major lay offs are the only way the company stays afloat. If you have a soul, do NOT work here--you will NOT be successful. You will be constantly treated like garbage and blamed for literally anything that goes wrong.

Pros

1. Summer hours 2. Competitive salary for those who know what to ask for.

Cons

1. The feeling that you could be fired at any moment (because so many are) 2. Repeatedly redesigning entire seasons while trying to keep up with the current seasonal workload 3. The managerial pressure to stay late, take work home, and work on weekends to meet unrealistic deadlines 4. The inability to use vacation time due to workload 5. Croneyism at the executive level
