      Something has to change and fast!

      Pros

      Great peer-to-peer relationships; subsidized food in the cafeteria; free Coke all over headquarters. Atlanta.

      Cons

      Upper-management does not have a clue about their employees. Coke pays in the 60th percentile and most of the workforce gives a performance adequate to their pay. Coke has brought in some new leaders, but does not appear to have given much thought as to whether or not these individuals are really there for the company and its employees. I see a group of short-term opportunists.

      The Cult of Personality Lives!

      Pros

      Strong brands, huge respect professionally and personally in the community. Great opportunity to learn about multiple brand portfolios, key channels and customers.

      Cons

      Corporate Leadership is strong but has not had the courage or capacity to fix the North America business which spirals out of control under the cult of personality within the senior ranks. Meritocracy has been replaced by the popular kids club. Continued challenged business environment ahs resulted in 8 reorgs in last 12 years through many parts of the org, a previous culture of high standards, mutual support has been replaced by free for all of independat all for me and screw you attitudes which is likely making many fo the former great leaders of this once wonderful company spin in their graves

      Pros

      If you work hard you will be rewarded. From the merchandising position you can one of two areas. Into sales or driving + warehouse. The job has a lot of perks for not having to have a college degree and there are many ways to move up.

      Cons

      There can be very long days along with the physical rigors of the job.
