It's unfortunate to hear you feel your training and development haven’t met your expectations beyond the initial phase. Ongoing growth and support are priorities for us. We’d encourage you to share specific feedback with your leadership so we can better address it.

Pros

-If they prove you worthy for doing some impossible goals you might be rewarded with R& R, maybe. The managers, SMT's and everyone already paid the highest salaries get ridiculous R&R's. Designer handbags, paid trips, experiences etc. While the sales people who actually did the dirty work might get a $50-$200 gift. -Benefits are good but they don't offer any maternity leave for mothers which is hilarious as its mostly women that work here. -The old CEO Bob got fired.

Cons

-Literally everything. It's extreme accountability so if something goes wrong its your fault and you better not make any excuses because you will be called out for or have to write a memo to the entire company of what you did wrong and how you are going to fix it. At a sales class one of the SMT's had us hold a mirror in front of us and anytime we made a mistake we had to hold the mirror up and look at ourselves and say we are the problem. -They make you feel so small, and everyone who works here is under constant pressure, everyone is afraid daily they are getting fired. -Sales tactics are SO SHADY. -Micromanaged to the core, they listen to all your phone calls and rate them. They rate you on everything on a scale of 1-10 but no one can be a 9 or a 10 and if you're an 8 you're killing it but don't expect those. -If you work overtime to try and hit your goals they are making you clock out so you don't get overtime. If you are salary say good by to any kind of work life balance. -You will be shamed for taking any kind of PTO -It's a revolving door of employees. -They will pretend there is room for growth but you have to sell your soul for years to get it. -No HR, enough said. - Recruiters actively reach out to employees in different regions each month to track down who’s posting Glassdoor reviews. So don’t be fooled, these reviews here may not be as anonymous or trustworthy as they seem. They do the same for surveys that's how they keep up good scores. -If you are thinking about working for The Connor Group, save yourself from future trauma in this toxic company, there are better options. Here you will be overworked and under paid.

We recognize that The Connor Group’s environment isn’t the right fit for everyone. We operate with high expectations, direct feedback, and a strong culture of accountability. That said, we never want those standards to be confused with disrespect or fear. Our goal is to challenge, develop, and reward our associates in meaningful ways, and we’re proud of the career paths and recognition opportunities we offer across all levels of the company. Some claims in this review are inaccurate and do not reflect our practices or values. We do not condone intimidation, unfair treatment, or unethical sales tactics. We take concerns seriously and remain committed to fostering a workplace that is performance-driven, transparent, and respectful.
