Pros

No experience required Pay is okay Anyone can do it

Cons

Inconsistent leadership. Will move you to other locations with little or no notice. Sales associates take all the heat from residents when upper management doesn't take care of the apartments. Sales tactics are old fashioned and predatory. Hard to sleep at night with a clear conscious. I was once told to give someone a tour just to "take their money" - to get a "transaction" that day. With the knowledge that this person would be auto denied due to their credit background. Despite knowing they would be denied my manager encouraged me to convince them to apply anyways so that we'd at least keep the portion of the application fee that is non-refundable. In addition to multiple situations like that there were constantly calls about unlivable conditions and the property managers at some locations do not care whatsoever. If you are desperate for a job they will take you. All you have to do is answer the red-flag rapid fire questions and convince them you are a go getter. In reality they need hustlers and cons and people who desire no work life balance. If you have no moral compass you'll be fine. Before you apply look up BBB reviews.

Pros

Pay is decent, some coworkers are nice to work with.

Cons

Many of the positive reviews about the company may not accurately reflect the true experience of employees. There are concerns that current employees are incentivized with gifts or bonuses to present a more favorable image of the workplace. In reality, many employees report challenges in achieving a work-life balance, often working long hours and that is considered their “Culture”. We were also pressured to generate misleading Google reviews or misrepresent products to secure sales, which seems to be a primary focus of the company. Additionally, there are instances where employees are relocated across the country and offered bonuses, only to face termination a few months later, with expectations to repay those bonuses. These practices have raised questions about the company's overall integrity and work culture.

While we’re glad you’ve found value in your pay and relationships with some coworkers, we’d like to address the issues you've raised. First, regarding reviews, we want to clarify that The Connor Group never incentivizes or pressures employees to write positive reviews, whether on Google or elsewhere. We value genuine feedback from our associates, both current and former, as it helps us continuously improve. As for relocations and bonuses, these programs are designed to support associates in achieving long-term success with the company. The decision to relocate an associate is based on business needs and opportunities for growth, and bonuses tied to relocation or performance are structured to reflect that commitment. Claims that employees are frequently relocated only to be terminated a few months later are not aligned with our practices. Finally, we acknowledge that maintaining work-life balance can be challenging in any high-performance environment. However, we are committed to providing the necessary tools, training, and support to help our associates succeed. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

- Great company culture - high expectations ensure you're surrounded by other hard-working individuals - Rewards and Recognition program - Company growth (great job security) - Partnerships - Promotions and raises based solely on individual performance - 401k match up to 9%

Cons

- If you are a "stare at the clock" type of individual, this is not the place for you - Direct feedback: if you can't take it and apply it, you won't make it here - Benefits for women (family growwth) -- The company has a solid benefits package for established families, but if you are (or will be) attempting to grow your family, this is not the place to do it.
