No Loyalty to Loyal employees

Pros

I was a 15+ year loyal employee. Loved the job, perks , compensation. I did my job very well. I made lots of money for the company.

Cons

I along with my whole department was laid off. And we were told we could not be rehired and not consider for any other position within the GST circle. This makes no sense. We were laid off as "business decision" not for poor performance. I had very good performance reviews to prove it. Met all goal objectives.

Pros

Health benefits are nice and company doesn't care about expenses. Field employees are allowed to drink and eat as much as they want. Since managers are so clueless, you can get away with working 20 hours a week and nobody would know the difference.

Cons

Too many good employees leave this company. Changing commission plans every six months may have something to do with that. Also, some of their upper management/senior managers are actively sending out resumes in hopes of finding better jobs. Buy in and employee morale is probably at the lowest level in the last three years.

The Friedkin Group Response

We are saddened to read that any former associate was dissatisfied with our leadership or their position while working with GS Marketing. We greatly invest in our culture, talent development and are constantly seeking high performers who fit our drive for success and for fun. For this associate, clearly we did not meet his/her expectations and will continue to strive for excellence for our clients and current associates. Our high-performing associates are afforded flexibility while entertaining our growing client base throughout the US. With our recent acquisition, we expect even more fun, flexibility and sales growth for our entire team as we continue expand.

Pros

Vehicle Program-Qualified management personnel have the option of leasing a vehicle from the company. Amazing Campus Remarkable Potential-An honest return to 'The Values" would reap rewards

Cons

Hyper-Political Environment, driven by leadership Formerly a high integrity workplace. Rapid decline after FG.'s departure. Executive management manipulates headcount and budget and siphons into personal bonus structure.
