Pros

In an area that is quite rural, Guthrie offers family sustaining jobs with fair pay and excellent health benefits. It is a huge benefit to the communities it serves, and it is a mission-driven organization that anyone can feel good working for.

Cons

Compared to other organizations I have worked for (both much larger and much smaller organizations), I would not call the PTO policy generous, especially since Guthrie does not offer any paid holidays.

Pros

Guthrie improves lives, and it is very gratifying to contribute to that. The people here are dedicated to that mission and to each other.

Cons

The workload can be overwhelming at times, and employees who perform well are "rewarded" with more work. The constant push for growth does not give us time to appreciate our successes.

Management keeps you involved in decision making. Pay is commensurate with other similar businesses, benefits are great. Good environment to work.

Cons

Can't think of any cons other than, when working at a hospital, patients are sick and sometimes pass. Very sad.
