      Pros

      As insurance companies go, Hartford is a good company, overall. From personal and business insurance, its got a great product to sell, especially compared to other policies out there. Pay was fair and they had even adjusted mine upward for cost of living during a move. Then later, unrequested, they raised my salary when it was discovered during the hiring of new employees that mine was out of line and too low.

      Cons

      The Hartford is too top heavy in management and to controlled by the home office management team with little knowledge or control allowed at the field level.

      The time off plan is pretty decent

      Cons

      The better you are at the job the worse they make it for you. If you are an idiot then you get paid more and don't have to work as hard (because they don't require you to go through the next step in training). Unfortunately, I'm not an idiot.
