Not Looking to Improve - If you are not a friend of the owner, you are expendable

Pros

Pays well, that's the appeal. Once you get in your ability to change and improve will be shut down if you offend 'friends' of the owner.

Cons

The owner and 'executive' team is only interested in protecting long term employees. Any efforts to drive change are shut down if they do not meet the approval of the over paid long term employees. They over hired expecting greater sales which have not come, in reaction they let go many of the new employees that brought in new ideas. There are NO metrics in place to measure performance. Every job is muscled through the plant without regard to process.

Pros

Imagine is a cutting edge work, best in class printing equipment and very profitable organization. Culture is sales focused and the work is not commoditized.

Cons

Organizational cultural is purely a sales driven and the focus is all about sales and the sales team. Management tends to micro manage the hours and coming and goings of the staff.

Pros

OK pay, nice building, lots of equipment and has a working cafeteria.

Cons

Production employees are somewhat disengaged. You are there to produce period. No project/improvement teams for production people hardly ever. Equipment is ran hard and not maintained as good as it needs to be throughout all areas of production. If you want to work here, go to work, do your job and keep your mouth shut. You will have a job and you will be their perfect employee.
